The mission of Fuacata Films (a Spanish colloquialism denoting the sound an "impact" makes) is to create thought provoking independent film by tackling important sociological topics, such as sexuality, cultural identity, immigration, etc, and utilizing poignant, yet comical perspectives to convey those ideas. Collaboration with fledging production companies is key. We strive to help others who have a different point of view, yet need venue to create cinema and share their unique voices. By addressing universal themes and directly defying stereotypes (in our subject matter, as well as our casting) we intend to break the pattern of mainstream production companies. Fuacata Films strives to make independent cinema that makes an "impact."
